After spending twenty years on rue de Trévise to the south of the city, Sciences Po Lille took up residence in its new home on rue Angellier in January 2017.
The building, built in 1895, originally housed the Faculté des Lettres, After its first renovation in 1950, the building was entirely remodelled and renovated to welcome students, the faculty, and staff of Sciences Po Lille. This remarkable transformation, combining historical and modern elements, represents a new era in the institute's development.
Sciences Po Lille is situated in the heart of Lille, just minutes from the Palais des Beaux-Arts and the Préfecture as well as a protestant church and a synagogue, anchoring it ever more steadfastly to its role as a crossroads of knowledge and culture.
